Jeff began his professional career as a process engineer in an oil refinery for Chevron. A decade later he began working for Goldman Sachs, initially as a commodities trader and ultimately as Managing Director and Partner with the firm. In 2011 Jeff retired and moved to Telluride full time, where he pursues his love of the outdoors, with special passions for bicycling and backcountry skiing. When not in the mountains, he can often be found working in his wood shop. Jeff has been involved with a number of non-profit organizations. From 2009-2012 he was Treasurer of the Board at Riverkeeper in NY. Whether in business or philanthropy, Jeff brings a practical and logical approach to decision making. He is an Advisory Board member at dZi Foundation because he believes dZi is making a lasting and significant difference in the future for many people in Nepal. Jeff has been married to his wife, Debbie, for over 31 years. They have two sons, Daniel and Kyle.
