Where We Work

dZi partners with communities in the steep and rugged hills of Eastern Nepal. Communities here are located just below the high Himalaya, and poverty rates reach as high as 42.3% – almost double the national average. These primarily indigenous communities are hard to reach, which has led to limited access to markets, resources, and employment.

However, through community-led partnership, dZi and dZi's partner communities are working to build a prosperous future – together.

dZi works with 49,000 people in 15 communities across 3 districts in Eastern Nepal – Solukhumbu, Khotang, and Bhojpur. To learn more about each of these communities, scroll through the slider below.
